We are currently seeking a full-time Learning Specialist to work remotely from their home in the Dallas, TX area.
Position Summary:
The Learning Specialist works as a member of the Learning and Knowledge Management team to train our K-12 customer base on the functionality and best practices using our SaaS solutions: Student Assessment; Teacher Evaluation and Observation; and Professional Development Management System. The team collaborates to create instructor-led and online curricula, training materials and programs to fulfill internal and customer training needs. The primary role of the Learning Specialist is to facilitate engaging instructor-led training sessions using participant-centered training strategies. While not training, s/he works on projects to keep our training resources current and delivers online instruction to our customers. There is an average of 50-75% travel which varies depending on the time of year with peak seasons being summer and fall.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success team and the customer to plan training
  • Coordinate training site logistics and conduct onsite training for customers
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of Performance Matters products Work with team to design and maintain training resources
  • Create video training tutorials from scripting to production
  • Perform quality assurance on all training materials
  • Report technical issues to appropriate personnel

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in the K-12 education technology market
  • Ability to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner in all circumstances
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional models and associated pedagogy
  • Advanced skills in technology use and ability to quickly learn new applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team to ensure training materials target all standards, specifications, style guides and the approved instructional design
  • Experience providing support, training and/or teaching using a variety of technologies

Experience and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel to the client's location throughout the United States
